Autism at Kingwood is fundraising to develop a supported living home that will support ten high-need autistic young adults (19-24) with learning disabilities in the new year.
Autism specialist school Prior’s Court reported that 35% of young adults, after leaving school, experience an adult placement breakdown or difficulty.
Autism at Kingwood intends to redress this, by providing a continuum of support that will ensure young adults coming into our supported living care will continue to receive the individualised support they are familiar with, whilst nurturing the growth, development, and lifelong learning they will require as they transition into adulthood.Â

We provide supported living and outreach support, helping and enabling autistic people to live in their own homes and make their own choices about the lives they want to lead.
Our relationship with the families of those we support is incredibly important to us and we work in partnership with families wherever possible.
All Autism at Kingwood support staff receive our Specialist Autism Training, making us leading care providers in Autism support.
