Last weekend, we bid farewell to a valued colleague who has retired.
Philip is said to be a man of his word, a true friend, and colleague. He has been working in the healthcare sector for a decade, supporting and enabling individuals to reach their goal of independence. In the 7 years he has been with Autism at Kingwood, he has made a tremendous difference. He is a “true professional” who’s shown, by example, that we should strive to be the best we can. He flourishes working as a part of a team but also stands out as an individual who inspires those around him.
Philip’s manager Bayomi gave this message to Philip: ‘It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with you for all these years. You’ve truly been such a good friend and good mentor – although we do agree to disagree sometimes! I hope you have a wonderfully happy retirement. Please don’t be a stranger!’
Roy, Philip’s co-worker said: ‘Congratulations on your retirement and all the incredible years of work you put into getting there. I wish you good health, delight and success as you move forward in life. Thank you for being an amazing co-worker and even better friend.’
