Huge congratulations to Owen Mayes, who has won the Berkshire Care Awards Support Worker Within a Learning Disability Service award.
Owen, who attended the award ceremony says “I can’t remember the blurb they read out beforehand, but I was thinking, ‘Well that person sounds pretty amazing, so I’m glad they’ve won it.’ And then they said my name and I thought I’d misheard; Belinda looked at me and said, ‘It’s you!’. There were some incredibly inspiring people there.”
Competition was fierce, with over 250 nominations for the awards. Well done Owen!

Our relationship with the families of those we support is incredibly important to us and we work in partnership with families wherever possible.
All Autism at Kingwood support staff receive our Specialist Autism Training, making us leading care providers in Autism support.
