John Enjoys a Holiday Break at the Kingwood Caravan

Our Gardening and Activities Coordinator Renee had a wonderful opportunity to visit inside Blenheim Palace recently, thanks to Laura.
‘People supported by Kingwood and staff recently met at Blenheim Palace for a walk around the estate. The weather was gorgeous, and it was a really nice day out for the people attending.
For me it was I believe even a bit more special as I had the privilege to also go inside the palace and look at the magnificently decorated rooms and learn a bit about the history. This was only possible because Laura offered me to come with her to see the castle, as she has an annual membership to Blenheim Palace, and I could be her carer for this visit.
Once inside Laura was telling me about the history of the place and the connection the place has with Princess Diana. She was also inquiring with members of staff if they could explain me a bit about the place, as I did not know the history of it.
We went from room to room, and I was really enjoying being able to look at the old paintings, furniture and displays of royalty. We also managed to take a photo of Laura on a throne.
