| Experience: A strong track record in quality assurance and audit within a health and social care setting, or within the charitable or public sector. Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing the H&S for services for autistic people or people with learning disabilities. Experience of identifying where improvements to services are required. Experience of disseminating information including training and development resulting in service improvements. Ability to accurately assess risk and promote positive risk taking whilst ensuring appropriate safety measures have been implemented and documented. Experience of successful working with local authority departments, H&S external leads, health and social care professionals and other service providers. | Knowledge: Knowledge of the H&S legislative and regulatory framework as it relates to staff and people for whom a service is provided. Ability to understand the challenges faced by organisations providing support to autistic people or people with learning disabilities. Our relationship with the families of those we support is incredibly important to us and we work in partnership with families wherever possible.
All Autism at Kingwood support staff receive our Specialist Autism Training, making us leading care providers in Autism support.
