Kingwood 2024-27 Strategy

We are thrilled to be launching the 2024-27 Autism at Kingwood Strategy today. We have worked hard to get to this point, after the challenges of Covid and a social care staffing crises.

But, with proactive measures, including:

  • successful negotiations with local authorities to achieve better rates
  • sponsorship licences which have enabled us to employ 40 new permanent colleagues
  • a reduction of agency rate to under 10%

we are starting to position ourselves for growth!

Read our strategy, where you will see a focus on supporting the transition of young autistic adults into adult social care, working closely with specialist schools and colleges so that we can provide a continuum of support for young adults, as they embark on their next chapter.

Watch the video below to see our Founder, Dame Stephanie Shirley, share her insights on the future of Autism at Kingwood.

What We Offer

We provide supported living and outreach support, helping and enabling autistic people to live in their own homes and make their own choices about the lives they want to lead.

Parents, Families & Carers of those we support

Our relationship with the families of those we support is incredibly important to us and we work in partnership with families wherever possible.

The Kingwood Autism Approach
