John Enjoys a Holiday Break at the Kingwood Caravan

In April we said goodbye to Abi and Estelle, who are leaving Kingwood for new opportunities.
Estelle Christmas has been with Kingwood for 8 years as our Chief Operating Officer, and Abi for over 6 years, as our Communications Officer. Both are true autism advocates and have done fantastic work in their field.
Abi said: ‘I have really valued my time at Autism at Kingwood. I have seen so much kindness and dedication here. Autism at Kingwood truly embraces and celebrates people as individuals. I remain in awe of the extra lengths our staff went to over the pandemic to provide support to the people that they support. I wish everyone, from staff to people we support and their families, all the very best in their journeys.’
Estelle said: “Whilst I will be sad to leave Kingwood after nearly 8 years, many of you will know that I moved to the county of Somerset in June of last year and have gradually been building a new life there, the time is now right for me to move on.
It has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside such amazing people and I will leave knowing that whilst there is still much to do, the great work of Kingwood will continue in supporting individuals to lead lives of their choosing.”
Both Estelle and Abi are moving onto exciting new roles, where they will build on their experience at Kingwood.
We provide supported living and outreach support, helping and enabling autistic people to live in their own homes and make their own choices about the lives they want to lead.
Our relationship with the families of those we support is incredibly important to us and we work in partnership with families wherever possible.
All Autism at Kingwood support staff receive our Specialist Autism Training, making us leading care providers in Autism support.
