About Autism at Kingwood

Autism at Kingwood is a registered charity and social care provider, which providesĀ supported living to approximately 100 autistic adults, helping them to live successfully in their own homes across Oxfordshire and Reading.

The range of support ranges from 24-hour care, to a few hours of outreach for people who need a little extra support to help them live independently.Ā

Autism at Kingwood employs over 230 people andĀ we recognise the value of our staff. Encouraging personal development, we provide autism specialist training to staff during their career with us. We offer benefits to our staff to support their well-being and motivation.Ā

Our relationship with the families of those we support is incredibly important to us and we like to work inĀ partnership with familiesĀ wherever possible.

What sets us apart is our commitment, confidence and desire to support autistic people, with a high level of professionalism and a lot of compassion. We are increasingly recognised as the charity that can support autistic people with highly challenging behaviours and are regularly approached to support people with these needs. We will continue to provide this vital support wherever we can.
