Autism at Kingwood chosen by Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group to set up Individual Service Funds
Autism at Kingwood is proud to announce that it has been chosen by Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Group to set up Individual Service Funds – an initiative to support vulnerable adults with autism and disabilities.
An ISF is an internal system of accounting within a service provider that makes the personal budget transparent to the individual or family. This helps provide flexible support by making the organisation accountable to the person.
Autism at Kingwood Chief Operating Officer, Estelle Christmas says of the scheme, ‘Individual Service Funds are a fantastic way for people and their families to take control, and put in place the type of support that they want and that will suit them. Working alongside international organisation ‘Lives Through Friends’, we will support people living in specialist units to move out, and assist them and their families in the creation of the lives that they aspire to.’
