Our People

The people we support have very different personalities, talents, needs, wishes and abilities. Last year we launched a report that demonstrates how the lives of people with autism can be transformed and how they can be enabled to fulfill their potential if support is well planned and focused around the needs of an individual. The report profiles 8 local residents and looks at how, with the support of Kingwood’s specialist teams, they are able to live independent, busy lives whilst overcoming a number of challenges related to autism.

On our Case Study page we would like to introduce you to Davey, Derryn, John, Lena, Lee, Paul, Giles and Stuart, who live in their own homes with increased independence and improved quality of life. We are sure you will agree their achievements are considerable, all of which have been made possible by their determination to live their lives to the full.
