The Board of Trustees sets the strategy for The Kingwood Trust and monitors all aspects of the Trust's activities. Responsibility for implementing the strategy and day-to-day operational issues is delegated to our Chief Executive who, in turn, is supported by a team of appropriately and highly-qualified managers and employees.
Sub-committees of the Board of Trustees meet between ten and twelve times a year and make recommendations to the full Board which meets four times a year. Meetings are held at least three times a year by the Trustees specifically to provide an opportunity for the people we support, and their families, to provide us with feedback on the quality of service we deliver. In addition the Trustees undertake an annual satisfaction survey of the families of the people the organisation supports in order to be able to identify areas for further improvement. The Board maintains regular contact with the Chief Executive.
