What people say about us

Every year Kingwood conducts research to ascertain what the people we support and their families think about the services we provide. Feedback comes in a number of different ways, sometimes in the form of a survey or report and often via impromptu, informal comments. It’s not what we say about ourselves but what others say about us that matters, and we would now like share with you some of the comments received over the past year.

  • 'All staff encourage our son to be as independent as possible. He is treated as an individual and given choices.'
  • 'It is a happy home and I am reassured that my son is in good and professional hands.’
  • ‘Whenever we see our grandson he tells us that he is happy – therefore we feel things must be right!’
  • ‘The service is very clearly centred on our son.’
  • ‘All staff provide excellent service; they are understanding and considerate.’
  • ‘Very happy now that he has a job, it is so important to him.’
  • ‘Our daughter is well and happy, thank you.’
  • ‘Our son is very happy to go out with us but glad to return to his home, which is just what we would want.’
  • ‘Staff deal very well with anything that causes our son stress.'
  • ‘Confidence has improved; excellent Care Plan; overall happiness.’
  • ‘I really appreciated the effort put into my son’s holiday this year.’
  • ‘Staff are aware of problems and work out ways to help. He loved his holiday and looks forward to going again.’
  • ‘Delighted at the way our son has settled in – there is an excellent team at the service.’
  • ‘It’s a pity that external care such as doctors, nurses etc are not as on the ball as your staff members.’
  • ‘It’s difficult to improve on excellence.’

Please tell us what you think about the services we provide. We would love to hear your comments.
