Kingwood is a specialist provider of person centred services for people with autism.

We currently have a number of opportunities for individuals who wish to work directly with adults with autism, supporting them within their homes and in the community. You will be supporting service users providing assistance with day to day living activities, such as meal preparation, shopping, managing money, leisure activities and personal needs. Our service operates a rota system including early, evening and weekend shifts. Experience is not necessary as full training is provided.

Kingwood supports adults with autism to live ‘ordinary’ lives and is dedicated to enabling people to achieve whatever is important to them.

Kingwood has vacancies for Support Workers for our supported living services and for our new College. The college will provide support to young adults (19-25) with Autism to make a successful transition from school to independent adult life.

As a Transition Support Worker at the college or Support Worker in the homes of adults with autism, you will be vital in the delivery of a personalised programme. You will have a desire to promote independence and enable adults to develop the skills that will enable them to lead interesting and fulfilling lives. You will assist people with complex and sometimes challenging needs, as well as providing support with personal care and access to the community.

Kingwood operates a varied rota system including early, evening and weekend shifts. We are looking for people who are interested in autism, enjoy helping others and are enthusiastic to take part in our journey to unlock the potential of adults with autism.

Experience of working with adults with autism would be an advantage but training can be provided to the right applicants.
Full time, part time and bank staff positions available
A full driving licence and use of own car is preferred & essential in the Crowthorne Service.
