Kingwood College aims to help young adults with autism develop confidence and independence.

Kingwood College and the Local Community

Living in the heart of the local community, students will be encouraged and supported to take part in a variety of leisure and recreational activities including swimming, discos and watching football matches.  Our objective is to enable school leavers with autism to make the transition to adult life equipped with the skills they need and with the ability to develop self-confidence and independence.   Whilst many residential colleges for people with autism are in remote areas, research underlines the importance of being within a community.
